Sophie & Ryan’s Beautiful Summer Wedding at Lillibrooke Manor
As a wedding photographer, few venues make my heart skip a beat quite like Lillibrooke Manor in Berkshire. With its stunning mix of rustic barns, elegant gardens, and romantic countryside charm, it’s the perfect location for couples looking for a wedding day full of character, warmth, and beautiful backdrops.
Sophie and Ryan’s Lillibrooke Manor wedding was the perfect example of how magical this venue can be — from relaxed morning preparations to golden-hour portraits and a lively evening party in the Great Barn.
Bridal Preparations in the Lillibrooke Manor Bridal Suite
The day began in the Bridal Suite, where Sophie and her bridesmaids enjoyed a calm and joyful morning getting ready. The suite’s soft natural light and elegant details made it the perfect space for those precious pre-ceremony moments — laughter, makeup touches, and the quiet excitement that fills the air before saying “I do.”
Groom Preparations at the Small Cottage
Just across the courtyard, Ryan and his groomsmen got ready in the Small Cottage. This cosy space at Lillibrooke Manor offers a relaxed and intimate setting for the groom’s morning. It was full of good humour, last-minute tie adjustments, and plenty of excitement for the day ahead.
A Romantic Ceremony in the Small Barn
Their wedding ceremony took place in the Small Barn, a beautifully rustic space filled with character. With its wooden beams and warm lighting, it created an intimate and romantic atmosphere as Sophie walked down the aisle. Capturing Ryan’s expression as he saw his bride for the first time was one of those moments that never loses its magic.
Drinks Reception in the Cloister Garden
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the Cloister Garden for the drinks reception. The sun was shining, champagne was flowing, and everyone enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere surrounded by blooming flowers and historic brick walls. The Cloister Garden at Lillibrooke Manor is one of my favourite spots for candid wedding photography — it’s perfect for capturing laughter, hugs, and natural moments between guests.
Wedding Breakfast and Evening Party in the Great Barn
The celebrations continued in the Great Barn, the heart of Lillibrooke Manor. This space never fails to impress — from the grand timber beams to the twinkling fairy lights, it’s the ideal setting for both a cosy dinner and an energetic evening party. Sophie and Ryan’s wedding breakfast was filled with laughter, heartfelt speeches, and joyful toasts before everyone hit the dance floor to celebrate in style.
Golden Hour Portraits at Lillibrooke Manor
One of the things I love most about Lillibrooke Manor wedding photography is how rich and varied the backdrops are. From charming courtyards to wildflower meadows and rustic barns, there are endless opportunities for stunning photos throughout the day.
As the sun began to set, Sophie and Ryan slipped away for a few quiet moments together. The golden-hour light was absolutely perfect — warm, soft, and glowing beautifully over the manor’s gardens. These are always some of my favourite images from any wedding day.
