As a wedding photographer who has worked across Berkshire and further afield for over a decade now, Lillibrooke Manor weddings always impress me for the phenomenal organisation and beauty of the venue: it is one of my personal favourites. With high ceilings and traditional beams, natural walls and floors with a neutral colour scheme, it has all those special features you want in a wedding barn. There is plenty of outdoor space, with a wonderful countryside and farmhouse back drop, beautiful gardens and a courtyard. There is also a large indoor space with amazing light for rainy days to ensure you still have your special wedding. There are a variety of fantastic options to shoot in any weather conditions. This is what makes Lillibrooke Manor such an incredible wedding venue at any time of the year. Being in such a wonderful, rural setting, it embraces the environment and provides a true sense of the seasons.

Lillibrooke Manor located in Maidenhead in Berkshire and can be easily accessed from London. It offers an amazing 15 acre grounds and an exclusive hire of the whole Estate so that you can enjoy the privacy of your wedding with your guests and have the entire barns and grounds as the beautiful backdrop of your wedding. Lillibrooke Manor offer beautiful gardens, grounds and beautiful buildings to choose from for your ceremony and wedding reception. This venue is licensed for civil ceremonies.
Lillibrooke Manor offers stunning settings for the photographs in any season of the year. You can decide between an indoor or outdoor ceremony.
The Manor is a private residence that is available to hire for weddings and its exact address is Ockwells Road, Cox Green, Maidenhead SL6 3LP.

the great barn
The Grade II Listed Barn can welcome up to 220 guests and offers 170 seats. You can enjoy the dance floor and bars with your guests in the Barn too.
The Estate originates from the 15th Century but is very up to date with its technical equipment such as HD projectors, large screens, adjustable colour lighting and decorative lighting internally and externally as well. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the Manor House and Great Barn Garden from the Great Barn.
engine house
The stunning Engine House has got glazed rooms and breath-taking views of the manor house. It offers a beautiful space for ceremonies with its dance floors or buffets. It is a great location for guest books or photo booths. Often an evening buffet is served in the Engine House.
the small barn
Despite its smaller size, the Small Barn can still welcome a decent amount of guests. It can host up to 120 seated guests. It is found within the beautiful Cloister Garden. It is a perfect location for a Welcome Drink Reception. The Small Barn is also a good space to use for games and activities and also serves as a great back up option for rain for outdoor ceremonies planned in the Cloister Garden.

Cloister Garden is one of my favourite places in Lillibrooke Manor with its beautiful blossoming garden. It is also licensed for outdoor ceremonies.
What is more quintessentially beautiful and idyllic than meandering through an efflorescent and blossoming cloister garden, enjoying drinks and canapés with your loved ones, sharing in your joy.
manor house and gardens
I personally love the Manor House as a background for my photographs, among many others on the Estate. It has so much character with its red brick wall and serves as a fantastic background for group photographs . The Manor House has recently been renovated and offers a place for bridal preparation as well. It is a beautiful setting for the getting ready photographs.
The 15th century Manor House will make your event more special and memorable. It offers six luxurious double bedrooms over three floors that can accommodate 12 adults + 2 children with high end en-suit bath or shower rooms. The views from the rooms are magnificent. There is plenty of social space for guests, with a large open-plan kitchen/diner and a sitting room.

The beautiful cottage room is a perfect location for bridal preparation if you are not staying in the Manor House or for the groom to get ready if the bride is getting ready in the Manor House.
outdoor spaces
The Lillibrooke Manor offers 15 acres of beautiful greenery. The outdoor spaces are ideal for games and provide us with many locations for couple photographs.
Wedding Fair
Attend a wedding fair, most venues will have regular wedding fairs and open days where you can see the venue prepared for a wedding day. This can be very helpful in visualising the day and seeing what you like and don’t like including seating plans. You will be able to meet many of the wedding suppliers in one visit who can give you an insight and great advice.
Above all remember to enjoy this special time in your life together, visit the venue as many times as you need to feel comfortable, the big day may seem like a dream and a long time away, but it will be here before you know it!

Barns are a wonderful choice for a venue, bursting with personality, each one has unique touches and features, and with high ceilings they offer a fantastic space to build your theme and create a wedding that fully reflects your personalities and wedding vision. Barns really do look amazing when they are decorated for weddings; with a combination of charm and character whilst also being a blank canvas on which you can be creative and add your unique touch. One of the special parts of a Barn wedding is the atmosphere that builds with having everyone under one roof. It is also an important factor that Barns do not operate as hotels. The wedding team in charge is entirely focused on making sure your wedding runs perfectly. You and your guests will not be sharing the venue with their other customers.
The best wedding photographers should have both the technical training and practical knowledge to be able to take stunning photos and get a great result in any location and weather conditions. However, photographers are artists and will create better images when working in inspiring environments, offering better light and backdrops with exquisite indoor and outdoor spaces that mould the artwork.
